I'm Ready!

Today I hurry off to school,
To work and learn and play.
I've got a brand new class this year.
What a happy day!!!!!
I thought I would share some pictures of my classroom while it is all neat and clean. The floors have been waxed over the summer and are shiny and bright. I've got everything in its place and ready for tomorrow. I don't know how I will be able to fall in love with another group of kids in the same way that I did last year, but it will surely happen. I can't wait to get to know each one of them.

This is my desk. The kids assume that I will have to get a new one once I'm married. I had to explain to them that I could take the "MS CLARK" off and just keep the desk.

I made this little sign four years ago, and am so sad that this is the last year it will welcome my new students into the room. I wrote Miss Clark on the apple before I laminated it.

  1. Great job ~ I know it makes all the difference in the world to those children to know they have a teacher that cares so much about them...maybe you could just start home schooling all these Wiggins kids!!!

  3. Great Job decorating your classroom, Mimi!
    I know you'll have a great year!

Also, I didn't see any pictures of the corner where you make the bad kids sit with a dunce cap on their head.

  4. *L* Also, Mimi. Your new "Welcome to the 4th Grade" sign should say Mrs. Morris and then have a heart with a picture of Zach Morris's face on it.

  5. Wow! You can tell that you teach younger kids. My kids (teenagers) would die if I had half the stuff you have in your room! Good luck with your first week of school. I know things will go great.
